Payments Policy

Understand how coin purchases, talent support, coin conversion and withdrawal requests work on Benue Talent Hub.

▤ Last updated: 18 October 2026 ◈ Payment transparency ✓ Account security

01 Overview

This Payments Policy explains the general rules for transactions made through Benue Talent Hub. It should be read together with our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

The platform may provide features for purchasing virtual coins, supporting talents, converting eligible coins to naira and requesting withdrawals. Availability depends on the features enabled for your account and the platform's current settings.

Prices, coin packages, conversion rates, minimum amounts, withdrawal thresholds and platform fees are determined by the applicable platform settings and will not necessarily remain the same over time. Review the displayed terms before confirming a transaction.

02 Buying Coins

Where coin purchases are enabled, users may purchase available coin packages using the payment methods presented at checkout.

  • Check the package, total amount and applicable charges before paying.
  • Use accurate payment information and a payment method you are authorised to use.
  • A payment is not considered successfully completed merely because you leave the checkout page or see a pending bank debit.
  • Coins should be credited only after the payment has been verified by the platform's payment process.
  • If payment succeeds but coins are not credited, keep your transaction reference and contact support.

Payment confirmation may take additional time if a payment provider or financial institution is experiencing a delay. Do not repeatedly pay for the same package while the original transaction is being checked.

03 Supporting Talents

If the support feature is available, users may spend eligible coins to support talents or their content. The amount and recipient should be checked before confirming the support action.

  • Support transactions should be initiated by the account holder.
  • Coins used for a completed support transaction may be deducted from your wallet.
  • Support transactions must not be used to deceive users, manipulate platform activity or conduct unlawful activity.
  • Do not send coins in response to threats, impersonation or suspicious requests.

Before supporting a talent, verify the intended recipient and amount. If you believe a support transaction was unauthorised or processed incorrectly, report it promptly with the relevant transaction details.

04 Coin Conversion

Where coin conversion is enabled, eligible users may convert coins into naira according to the conversion rate and conditions currently set by the platform.

  • The applicable conversion rate is the rate displayed by the platform when you initiate the conversion.
  • Minimum or maximum conversion limits may apply.
  • The amount credited is calculated according to the applicable rate and rounding rules.
  • Only coins eligible for conversion may be used.
  • Available conversion features may be limited, suspended or changed where necessary.
Review the number of coins and estimated naira amount carefully before confirming. A completed conversion may not be automatically reversible.

Coins do not automatically represent a fixed naira value outside the conversion rules displayed by the platform. The availability of conversion does not guarantee that every coin balance is immediately withdrawable.

05 Withdrawals

If withdrawals are available for your account, you may request payment of an eligible naira balance by using the withdrawal process provided by the platform.

  • A minimum withdrawal threshold may apply.
  • Applicable platform fees or deductions will depend on the rules displayed when you submit your request.
  • You must provide accurate payout information and use an account or destination you are authorised to use.
  • Withdrawal requests may be subject to account, transaction and fraud-prevention checks.
  • Submitting a withdrawal request does not mean that the request has been approved or paid.

Requests may be pending while they are reviewed or processed. Processing time can depend on the platform, payment provider, financial institution, public holidays and other circumstances outside the platform's control.

A request may be declined or delayed if required information is missing, the balance is insufficient, the destination details are invalid or a legitimate security review is necessary. Where appropriate, instructions may be provided for correcting the issue.

06 Fees and Charges

Depending on the transaction, fees or deductions may apply to purchases, conversions or withdrawals. The applicable charges are those communicated by the platform or payment provider for the transaction.

  • Review the final amount before authorising a payment.
  • Check the withdrawal amount and any stated deduction before submitting a request.
  • Your bank, payment provider or other financial institution may impose separate charges.
  • Do not assume that a fee charged by a third party is controlled by the platform.

The platform should display applicable platform charges before you confirm the relevant transaction. If the amount charged differs from the amount displayed, contact support and provide the transaction reference.

07 Refunds and Disputes

If you believe a payment was duplicated, incorrectly processed or made without your authorisation, contact support as soon as reasonably possible.

Refund eligibility depends on the circumstances of the transaction, the payment provider's applicable rules, the platform's actual refund arrangements and any rights provided by applicable law.

  • Provide the transaction reference, date, amount and a description of the problem.
  • Do not send your password, full payment-card number, PIN or one-time password.
  • Where a payment provider handles the transaction, additional information may be required to investigate it.
  • Transactions involving coins already spent, converted or used to support another user may require additional review.

Do not initiate a false dispute or knowingly provide misleading information. Suspected fraud or a legitimate payment dispute will be assessed using available transaction records and relevant provider procedures.

This policy does not remove any consumer rights or refund rights that cannot legally be excluded.

08 Payment Security

Users are responsible for keeping their login credentials and account access secure. Do not allow another person to make payments or withdrawals using your account unless the platform expressly permits it.

  • Use only official payment pages and methods provided by the platform.
  • Never share your password, card PIN, bank PIN or one-time password with someone claiming to be support.
  • Check that the payment amount and recipient are correct before confirming.
  • Report unfamiliar wallet activity or suspicious payment requests promptly.

Payments may be checked using transaction references and information supplied by the payment provider. Certain transactions may be delayed or restricted while suspected fraud or a payment error is investigated.

09 Restrictions and Prohibited Activity

You must not use the platform's payment or wallet features to facilitate fraud, money laundering, impersonation, unauthorised payments or other unlawful activity.

Prohibited conduct includes:

  • Using another person's payment method without permission.
  • Manipulating transactions, exploiting payment errors or attempting to obtain coins without valid payment.
  • Providing false information to obtain a payout or evade legitimate checks.
  • Attempting to exploit duplicate requests or technical errors to receive the same credit more than once.
  • Using the platform to facilitate prohibited transactions or evade applicable legal requirements.

Where there are reasonable grounds to suspect abuse, the platform may review affected transactions and apply proportionate restrictions permitted by its terms and applicable law. Any handling of balances or disputed funds must follow applicable legal requirements.

10 Questions and Complaints

If a payment, coin credit, conversion or withdrawal appears incorrect, contact the platform through its available support channel.

To help investigate the issue, provide the transaction reference, date, amount, the action you attempted and a short explanation of what happened. Include only information necessary to investigate the transaction.

Never include passwords, PINs, one-time passwords or full payment-card details in a support message.
